With recorder favourites by Bach & Telemann and Australian contemporary pieces by Stephen Leek, Ryan Williams and a new composition written by Catherine Sullivan.

Recorder and Early Music Society of West Australia Workshop.

30 June, 10- 4pm Spensley Street Primary School, Clifton Hill

Existing ensembles that wish to be tutored in particular compositions have a session with each member of the Recorder Co-op.
The notes have been learned and then we can help with more musical ideas concerned with style, appropriate articulation, ornamentation and tuning.
The end of the workshop will bring the ensembles together for a short concert.

Early Music Ensemble TRILLO presents music from the late 14th Century Spanish manuscript, Llibre Vermell de Montserrat. The ensemble is made up of Melbourne Conservatorium students playing medieval instruments: recorders, rebec, vielle, lute, harp, psaltery, percussion and voice.
